Rockwell Collins, the American multinational company which provides information technology and avionics system and services, has recently announced that its Venue high-definition entertainment system as well as cabin management will be equipped on new Bombardier Global 6000 and Global 5000 aircrafts, beginning in the third quarter of 2016. This announcement was made at the 2016 European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE). Rockwell Collins’s Venue system will also be offered as a retrofit solution through Bombardier Service Centers for in-service Global aircraft models.
Venue has already been installed in more than 850 corporate aircraft cabins as well as private aircraft cabins around the globe. Each system is custom made with the most advanced cabin technologies in order to recreate and mirror the latest advancements in boardroom technology and home entertainment. The open architecture design offered by Venue allows for a platform that can be easily implemented in future cabin technologies.
