On June 5th 2016, Andreas Spaeth posted an article on Airways News. She wrote about on how June 3rd, a bunch of CEOs from top important airlines got together to sit in the same aircraft on a trip from Dublin to Zurich. The model of the plan that the CEOs of the airline companies took was the BBA505. June 3rd at a time during the IATA for the annual meeting at the Irish capital. This even is followed by a Chief Executive Board meeting of all Star Alliance in Switzerland.
Here’s what Spaeth had to say about SWISS and the airlines.“SWISS celebrates its tenth year as a Star member, and at the same time will operate the world premiere of this first all-new passenger jet in this category in decades on July 15. Belittled by Airbus salesman John Leahy only this week as “that cute little aircraft”, Bombardier called this special flight rightly “the most important take-off in the history of the CSeries.” Even after the recent mega-order by Delta Air Lines, Bombardier desperately needs to build trust and confidence in its product to attract more takers.”
This aircraft is somewhat unique in its own way as it comes in a 2-3 seat layout which is considered very different than its competitors. Competitors such as Embraer Aircraft offers a 2-2 and Airbus and Boeing offer a 3-3 seat layout.
In terms of the cabin width, the CSeries is at 3.28m whereas the Airbus A320 has one seat in every row which leads them to have a measurement of 3.70m
The CSeries also has a window that is 50% larger than that of the A320’s window.
